I submitted these and nine additional sketches as part of The Sketchbook Project at the Brooklyn Art Library.
This particular series is done solely in ink, which shows the differences in shadow and depth without the use of shading. This style of sketching is among my favorites due to the detail achievable through the shadow and negative space in the drawing.
